The Admirals Inn hotel in Antigua is small family run and located within the Nelsons Dockyard area of English Harbour on the South West Coast of Antigua.
The hotel has its own bar / Lounge and Restaurant, where all meals are served on an A La Carte basis, local seafood is the specialty, the restaurant always try’s to use local produce where it can.
The Hotel bar has a quiet local key feel to it, however during the season it will sometimes provide evening entertainment such as a steel band, or a local string and flute band. For a more lively evening, the bars around Nelsons Dockyard are within walking distance.

The Admirals Hotel itself is in a secluded part of the Nelsons Dockyard, it consists of three buildings, one of which was built in 1788. The hotel consists of 15 bedrooms, each of which have a private bathroom and shower.
Nelsons Dockyard where the hotel is situated is a beautiful off the beaton track part of the island, is also a yachters paradise, with a range of boats and activities.
The hotel is not situated on a beach, however the hotels own boat is avaialable to take you to the beach at Freeman’s bay, this is a white sandy beach with no road access and good snorkeling reefs nearby. The Hotel will even prodivde beach chairs, just ask the boatman! The boat will come back whenever you request, leaving your day completely upto you, the hotel does not charge residents for this service.

Nearby is also a lovely beach located at Pigeon Point at Falmouth Harbour, which is now part of the National Park. This beach is accessible by car and the hotel can also take you here, it is able a five minute drive away, or a nice 20 minute walk through the valley. The Hotel can provide snorkeling gear and beach towels.
The hotel does not have its own pool, the beautiful sea more than makes up for it! The Island does not have a public swimming pool, so if you are going to this Hotel for its pools look again!
The side where the hotel is located, is where the island of Montserrat can be seen, there are day trips for people to visit this Island.

Distance from Airport - St Johns is the only airport in Antigua and is located in the North East of the Island, this is about 9 Miles which will take about 30 mins travelling time. There are taxis readily available from the airport.
You could also hire a car at the airport with Thrifty car hire.
